Has any one here attempted to refinish and replate a gold watch? If so any tips and tricks. I have a couple of watches that the plating is just so broken up that it really detracts beyond any intrinsic residual value to a collector, so nothing to loose by giving it a go.
Is it plating or gold cap or gold filled? I’ve had crowns replated and color matched pretty well, never a case as most of hte gold plate Omega’s aren’t that worth saving
