Gold Gallet chrono w/ Valjoux 7733

Thoughts on this piece? At first I thought the hands looked too long but other examples say otherwise. Man, I feel like seeing a sub $1500 vintage Gallet these days is hard to come by.

I think I could pull off the gold....

Oh, no, I don’t think it’s actually gold. Probably plated? I’m not sure.

What is the attraction apart from the name on the dial? It's a cheap chronograph movement in a plated case.

A fair point, although one could argue that about a lot of pieces form that era. I do kind of like the design. The right subdial hand is sort of unique - almost reminds of me a spade.

I’d save up for a better Gallet. This is bottom shelf IMO. You wont be happy.
