FS: Vintage Gruen Chronograph 770R w Valjoux 7730

Hello up for sale is a beautiful Gruen chronograph 770R with original minty dial and handset. New aftermarket crystal just added.


Case is 37mm (excluding crown). Fits, looks and feels great on the wrist.


Valjoux 7730 runs and winds well, all chrono functions work crisply and as designed. Keeps great time but service history unknown. Runs about 30 hours when fully wound.


Research shows Gruen used this calibre Valjoux 7730 ca. 1966-73; Id guess it’s a late 60’s model.


Sold on a light brown leather strap.
