So it is 10:15 am my time... Anyone see the problem?

I have no clue why FedEx has been thinking for days it will be delivered today, but they really have confidence in something that's actually supposed to arrive next week...

Did the sender create a shipping label a while back? Sometimes if a co creates a shipping label in anticipation of a product that'll ship out a few days or a week down the line, it confuses the FedEx "delivery date" they send you

FedEx currently has a huge backlog coming out of China. The delivery date is the date FedEx expected to deliver based on senders info. Stuff gets hung up in customs all the time there. Or they just lost it. 馃榿

Too show the insanity of current shipping times....I ordered 4 pair of socks from my favorite store in Paris 3 WEEKS AGO. Still haven't shown up. 3 weeks. For socks. Jeez. Could have sent them by ship from France to California and gotten them quicker.

It's a custom build laptop from HP. It's not lost, just giving odd delivery information. HP had delivery by the 28th, it left the factory in China 2-3 days ago, now it's in Japan scheduled to be delivered today lol.

I got you beat on that. I needed a new pair of shoelaces for an old pair of chukkas, and placed an order on February 10th, seller in Hong Kong. Didn't receive it until either the end of April or sometime in May, can't remember when exactly. They communicated the delay of course though

A couple weeks ago I ordered a camera from Japan and the tracking was the same as yours (I too live in SoCal). Japan is being affected by the virus right now, which is drastically altering the work force. My package was 3 day fedex priority and it took 3 days alone just to get out of Japan to Hawaii. All the while my scheduled delivery date was for one of the three days it took to get out of Japan.

The owner of the camera shop I ordered from told me that he is only allowed out of his house/to go to work on certain days based on certain info. It's like that for everyone, which definitely affects Fedex's shipping times.

I鈥檓 waiting for a package that was shipped on June 9th using UPS Mail Innovations (a partnership with USPS in which USPS will actually deliver it) and it still shows an estimated delivery date of June 15, 2020 by 9:00 PM. UPS says USPS has it somewhere. ::facepalm1::

That also happened to me last week. The seller used that same UPS/USPS innovations and it was supposed to be delivered last Monday. For that entire week my local USPS stated they had received the package from UPS with no further update. This past Sunday the tracking randomly updated and it was delivered two days ago.

I experienced the same issue with UPS a couple weeks ago!? I think COVID is taking its toll! Lol! My package eventually arrived several days later 馃憥
