I must say, while I can't really go anywhere else besides vintage, that the Globemaster is a very pretty watch.
Before I made my pivot I was really looking forward to getting one with the dark dial.

Took my Globemaster with me as a travel companion back in 2016, in the very last mileage run I ever took. Glad those days of chasing elite status are in a thing of the past for me.

IIRC, this taken from the Alaska Airlines lounge in Anchorage, during a 24-hour LAX -> DEN -> ANC -> ORD -> MRY -> LAX dash to secure United Platinum that year. Very useful watch when hopping between timezones 4 times in 1 day!

The dial is mesmerizing:

Since today I’ve got the perfect bracelet for my beloved Globemaster. Staib Milanaise, all brushed.

Must confess I have been thinking of a bracelet for mine and your image has convinced me to give it a shot 👍

What do you think about this Globemaster and perlon combination. I like it the most for now, will see how it will be over time. Perlon for now offers best combination of look, waterproofness ( washing hands and cleaning watch) and ability to micro adjust how tight will wear watch.

Can you put an Omega buckle on it?

+1 for the perlon (see avatar)

Yes, an omega buckle can be used, I fitted one to mine temporarily from the bundled Omega NATO strap.

Pin was a bit larger than original Eulit one, which made me a bit wary of damaging the strap.
