Glad to have this back. A few years ago, the chronograph function had a problem on my vintage Hanhart 417 Bund I had it on the back burner getting repaired for a year. Then had the local watchmaker have a take at it. He might have made it worse. Then I had another watchmaker in the states that has done some good work on my Junghans Bund chronograph he did find one of the problems on the chrono runner broken staff but did not want to do the job. Tried to keep it in the states the fear of shipping and losing a watch. So, I broke down and sent it to Frank in Germany who is the best when it comes to vintage Hanharts made it there safe and sound. Well, he fixed the chrono-runner staff and found another problem the hammer was too short so that had to be replaced and did some adjustments and tested it to make sure it works perfect. Well just got it back today ever since I owned it the flyback function was sluggish now it works smooth the best it ever has Frank does great work wished I sent it to him the first time but that fear of shipping out of the states where you think it can get lost got the best of me. You know never lost a watch in the mail yet and I bought and sold where overseas shipping was involved. Glad to have it back and on the wrist. One thing about Frank is he has just about any vintage Hanhart part needed to service a vintage Hanhart chronograph that most watchmakers don't have and if they happen to have it, they will charge double what Frank mite charge really happy with his work.
