Was it advertised as an original untouched dial?

No, the dealer says nothing about that.

It鈥檚 a horrible redial with a horrible painted Mickey Mouse and not worth $69 let alone $690

I know little about GP, so I hope others will chime in. But, looking at aspects of the dial, and especially zoomed in on Mickey, I would say it is a repainted dial. Pretty fun that Mickey is resting on the 9:00 marker, so if you like it then by all means enjoy it.

Phil if you are new to vintage watches, then spend a lot of time reading here before your next purchase, especially all the sticky threads like https://omegaforums.net/threads/learn-how-to-fish.52603/, and feel encouraged to post your next proposed purchase here for opinions before you buy.

All best wishes

I love mickey mouse dials. Had this been nicely made (i dont like how the feet area turned out since the sub second dial affected it significantly), i would be interested even if i know it to be not original.

Indeed Mickey doesn't look too good for a high-quality watch/brand like GP...

If this is being sold in a South American country, just turn back. 馃榾

It's hard to find a vintage GP with Mickey on Google, this is the only pic I can download. The one I showed earlier does seem low-quality.

So mickey moved down from 9 to 8. 馃榾

Sharing my mickey collection. No GP though (yet).

But the last slot is already reserved for another G.

Just cheap fantasy watches, the Piaget is completely fake and the GP at the very least has a refinished dial with mickey added.

didn't you consider the possibility it is a unicorn-one-off-factory-experimental-prototype-sample-snuck-out-the-back-door? after all I hear those don't have to adhere to the usual quality control.
