Looks ok … not same value as UG branded. I’d like a look at the inner case and movement.

The sub-dials are significantly lighter than the main dial, but maybe that’s normal?
Looks like a two tone dial. The subdials seem to match outside seconds register.
It does, except for the two-tone dial. The example on the web has an important tell. Since the base of the chronograph scale is in miles, one would expect the watch to be a U.S. market model. The web example has the “GXM” import code for GP. The first watch should have this code also.

In general it looks good to me. I can't tell the case condition/polish from the photos.

The hour/minute hands look relumed, the rest looks original.

overall looks nice, just depends on price

Thanks all. Any idea what an appropriate price would be for this watch? I only have the photos and year (1949). Don’t have the list price yet and would be great to have an idea of what’s reasonable before I go back to the store.

Just wondering if you ended up buying this? If so, how much did you pay for it?

I did not. It was priced between $6-7k I believe.

Thanks. I suppose needless to say it's not available any more?
