Up for sale is my 2022 Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42mm Ref. 81010-11-131-11A in stainless steel. Asking £7,499 OBO. I am the second owner; the watch was originally purchased from a Girard-Perregaux AD in 2022. The watch is in very good condition, worn minimally and always stored properly. This model features Girard-Perregaux's iconic Laureato design with its signature octagonal bezel set atop a circular plinth, integrated bracelet and beautifully executed Clous de Paris silver dial. Contains the in-house GP 1800 automatic manufacture movement, central seconds, date display at 3 o'clock, sapphire crystal, exhibition sapphire caseback and integrated stainless steel bracelet with triple-folding clasp. Comes as a full set with Girard-Perregaux boxes, warranty papers, user manual.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato models of this era are fast becoming collectible due to their horology, craftsmanship and distinctive integrated-bracelet sports watch design. Originally inspired by the 1975 Laureato, this modern interpretation combines vintage aesthetics with a contemporary in-house movement and exceptional finishing throughout. Stored in a PELI 1450 watertight case (not included) in a temperature-controlled room and routinely wound to keep the movement active.
Condition: Very good.
Very small hairline mark to top left lug, fine hairline around bezel, small hairline on small links above GP clasp logo and small hairline on big link (two down from the 6 O’clock position). The watch has been captured using high-resolution and macro photography to provide full transparency of its condition. Macro images can significantly magnify even the smallest details, often making minor imperfections appear more prominent than they are in reality. In person and under normal viewing conditions, any such marks are barely visible and difficult to detect with the naked eye. Imperceptible flaws or minor marks are intentionally revealed, not concealed by me.
