I have a speedy Tuesday, that for some reason has never been on my wrist. It was bought to wear, not sit in its box, but there it sits. I suppose after so many years I should probably just wear it or sell it.

I discovered this happening with my Japan Racing speedy. I finally just grabbed it to wear for a random work trip and after spending a few days with it as a daily wear it’s now in the rotation.

I’m reading so many different collecting approaches, and they’re all great. Wear, don’t wear. Keep, flip, trade, make a Franken, modify, polish, enjoy the scratches and dings. Why is this a joy? Life throws so many daily rules and restrictions at you, that doing EXACTLY what you want, in one little area, is SO gratifying.

Great perspective.
