I think the GO SeaQ is great but I have one major problem with it: there are three different number fonts! That makes it a no-GO for me! This would be a dream: centered pananrama date, 39mm case, dash index dial with no text except the brand, bezel numbers match the date font.

are you referring to the current 39.5mm model or the larger panorama date model? and where do you want the centered date? at the 6?

The current Panorama date is 42mm. Would be nice in the 39.5 size with the date centered above 6 Ala dornbleuth (which has nice font symmetry I might add).

Honestly between those the GO, but I would take the SJE093 62MAS reissue over both.

My choice also. If you’re spending money for a desk diver all shiny, it doesn’t really matter as all the big names make a diver.
90% of full time (live on board) yachties I interact with through work wear Seikos…

Well, if you are not going to dive with it, just get a 62Mas

not to be shhoonty but can the live on board workers afford the GO vs the Seiko? I honestly don't have much experience with the live on boards

I do know that the dives shops that I come across in SE Asia the dive shop owner operators and workers are generally not in a position to be buying the GOs Rolex Fifty Fathoms

I deal with yachts from $50k to hundreds of millions. Have seen all types of watches. Most staff have Seikos while crew have nicer watches.

I mentioned “live on yachties” as these are the guys that are around water all the time. (Hence mainly Seikos). Cleared a yacht a while back and the captain had the most beat up Rolex I have ever seen. Sea Cred I loved it and got the whole story! To him it was a $300 watch. Serviced religiously by a watchmaker with no

Most divers in my neck of the woods Australia and Great Barrier Reef aren’t your SE Asian workers. And have decent watch or new Seiko.

Hey my Neurosurgeon had a Fifty Fathoms on yesterday. Probably never dived with it…

Oil rigs it’s 60% Seiko 20% Garmin with 10% Rolex and 10% Omega (don’t count the Apple Watches in statistics 📉)

My watch…function is everything.
And it see’s the ocean regularly.
Rinse tub I use for after dives

which makes sense for you. It's a tool. So a Tool watch.

heck if I military or diving was profession like cleaning / checking hulls then I'd buy a quartz watch. Actually I'd probably buy one of those Sinn Hydro Quartz 44mm watches, but since I am on land 90% of the time I wear a smaller Sinn U50.
