So I got this Omega Geneve at a very inexpensive price at an auction I was surprised that nobody else really bid on it but it was pretty beat up and damaged and so much to the point I decided to have it restored. I typically don't restore my vintage watches but this one was almost beyond saving. I think it came out fairly good and while not the original dial it will give second life to this watch. In total I had the dial redone, fully serviced and the case was so heavily damaged that my watch maker happen to have a spare case and he threw this in for free, which was very nice of him. I'm sure I'm probably into the watch for more than it's worth but I plan to keep keep it and will wear it as often as possible.

A valiant effort. If it keeps time effectively then your Omega can continue to serve.

It would be nice if your watchmaker could remove the black overflow marring the 4:00 to 10:00 gold applied markers left by a inattentive redialer. It is just discernable enough to scream: "Look at me! I don't belong here!"
