For comparison

The hourly sub dial font is thicker.

The 6 and 9 are open in the hourly (also outer scale), which is more visible in mine. Your picture may be okay if clearer photo was available.

Green lume seems normal, at least with the white dial. Bulging lume seems normal.

Fratello watch font is lighter but also more faded. Yours might be bolder because less faded and photo quality.

I am not experienced enough to call it redial. It looks okay.

Price is what the price is. How often do you see one? Ep movement is really nice to use. The pushers take a light touch. My 1861 speedy seems like it's crunchy in comparison. They are beautiful watches.

Dial looks good to me, might have been relumed but I have seen some of this with this green coloured lume so could as well be original.

Price is what it is, large steel cased 3-register chronos from known brands does not grow on trees.

Thanks everyone for your inputs, yeah I've seen a few toothpaste green lumes but really wasn't sure. Also thanks @pdxleaf for showing me some thicker fonts!

Will let you all know how it goes!

That color lume is seen frequently enough on Gallet dials that I believe it's legit. Not my favorite color ... but authentic IMO.

Yup, sale done and awaiting the eagle's landing!
Think the sale post on eBay has been removed as well. I'm suffering from vintage chronoviraemia.

Sweet! It's a beauty. Curious to know how you like it. It's a beautiful movement. I was kindof hoping you wouldn't want it because I was interested. You did good.

I'm eagerly anticipating its arrival while watching FedEx status updates 🍿. Sharing here post-arrival is a definite!

Thanks for being a gentleman! I was a bit puzzled that no one had got it earlier, think it was up on the bay for more than a month and seller was really a pleasant chap.

And so the Gallet has finally arrived and is brilliant in the flesh! The dial is in excellent condition and I love the toothpaste minty green lume with the blued hands.

Many thanks to all for the advice and enabling!

Good stuff--gotta love those blued steel batons. Also, the puffiness of the lume is always a good sign. From my observation, the lume on the hands and the dial age differently, probably due to the latter being in contact with more metal. But it's also effected by exposure to sunlight. Given the overall state of the piece, my diagnosis is . . . case-queen!

Here is another watch with this combination (hands, movement, dial). Who put it all together is not known to me.

I think this is the first time I've seen Excelsior Park branding on this particular watch. Is it yours?
