January often means a sort of "refocusing and thinning the herd" to me and 2023 makes no exception 😀
This time I decided to part with my square Universal Genève which according to case serial dates back to 1945.
I originally bought it here on OF something more than two years ago from a german user who nicely allowed me to reuse some of his pictures -at this link you find his ad on the private watch sales section:

This rarely seen watch aesthetically is as good as it was back then, and only got a needed fully overhauling by my trusty watchmaker in december 2020 (although I have no receipt). Since then, I wore it maybe 15 times.
Stainless steel 30x30 case is in very good conditions. Serial numbers and reference on the outside caseback are perfectly readable. Due to nice fancy drilled lugs, it wears great on the wrist with a 44.7mm lug to lug and 20mm lug width. Original charming domed crystal is there with just some scratches, it was politely polished by my watchmaker during service.
Two-tone original dial has traces of wear and age throughout but is in good shape for its age. Hands set and crown are original and in nice conditions.
Automatic in-house 139 bumper movement works great after the service, with a smooth and fluid hand winding by the crown.
Watch comes on a high quality and almost new vintage style gray suede strap from GLC Straps.

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. Also given the service done on the watch since the first time it popped up on OF, I'm asking 690 euros shipped with tracking code and ensured with Secursus everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is possible.
