Hey Guys,

Just wanted to show you guys a restoration we just got done at TMWatchCo. We restored the whole thing in house and everything is either NOS or new service parts. The case took a lot of hours to refinish but turned out great! We are currently taking restoration work if any one needs help on some vintage Omegas. Let me know what you think of this beautifully restored Ploprof!

Kind regards,

Tanner Morehouse
TM Watch Co.

Looks great, Tanner, many thanks for posting. Since we are talking about a restoration, I'm sure people would be interested in seeing "before" photos, and hearing more about what was done, if you and the owner don't mind. That will also give us more of a sense of what can be accomplished.

Basically the watch was built from parts, including an NOS movement. A guy hooked me up with the case here on Omegaforums.

Not to start a fight.

but if it’s all from made up parts and from separately purchased case and movement…

It is not a restoration. It’s a newly built watch.

The case is a restoration though!

Either way it looks great and being non original at least it can be worn it without too many concerns.

Looks good, Tanner ! There is a slight imperfection in the circular brushing next to the red locking knob. Or is it a deep scratch ? On a side note: Tanner is very good with micro welding and affordable in Rolex Restorations.

One thing, I`ve seen it many times - how the service crown doesn`t fit exactly and there is always gap between the crown and locking wheel.
Have had mine turned down a bit in one particular spot to make it a perfect fit crowxwheelxcase.

Best to re use the old crown parts to avoid the gap if possible. The seals are all replaceable. The original crown also has a brushed finish as opposed to the polished finish of the service crowns.
