ยทI have recently upgraded, so am selling this Original RCAF Birks single- pusher Chronograph. I believe this piece to date from the late 50s ,and it is powered by the Venus 175 movement (#304). Birks is the Canadian equivalent of Tiffany in the USA.
The Dial and Hands are original, and while they both show patina and wear, this watch is untouched. The Hands still display a gorgeous steel blue lustre. The crown has been replaced, but doesn't detract from the overall appearance. I've only ever seen three of these and all have had the serial numbers removed upon decommissioning. The Chronograph is on a nice "Birks Blue" one piece nylon strap.
The Watch, Hack and Chronograph function all operate correctly and crisply. I do not know the service history but she keeps good time.
