·It's time to let go of some of the watches that I picked up during lockdown that I very much appreciate for brand/history/looks but simply do not wear becuase I prefer a larger watch. Hopefully some OF members who prefer a smaller case size can get more daily use & love out of these watches.....
First up, is a 1973 Bulova Devil Diver Choronograph.
Make: Bulova
Model: Deep Sea Chronograph
Year: 1973 (N3)
Case No: 632763
Material: Stainless steel
Dimensions: 38mm diameter; 15.5mm thickness
Crystal: Plexiglass
Lume: Yes, tritium
Caliber: Manually wound Valjoux 7733 / Bulova 14EB
Dial: Overall good condition for it's age
Hands: Overall good for their age, very small patch on lume missing on hour hand
Pushers: One original, one new replacement
Crown: Signed Bulova crown
Bezel: Coke bezel, slight fading on red portion
Case: Some scrathces but overall it's in good condition for it's age
Case back: Some heavy scratches from previous owner
Strap: Aftermarket black leather racing strap with red stitching/accents & a quick release clasp
The watch funtions properly & keeps good time, but the chronograph can stick so the movement would benefit from a service.
Price: $900 including shipping within the USA (major states). International shipping will be extra (need to check).
