So does disconnecting that front drive shaft lol.
I've really gotten into the 996 Turbos lately. I'm starting to embrace that generation overall.

While hunting through my photo archives trying to find some old pictures I stumbled across this. This watch lived on that motorcycle outside for years. Sold that bike, still have the watch in a drawer. Now I have a boujee motorcycle with a built in clock AND a fuel gauge!

No way this thread hasn't been updated in almost a year.
I guess Automotive Exceptionalism and Classic Car Spotting get all the action.
Was posting this for myself to watch later and whoever else is interested...

In 1993, Omega remembered they did more than go to “space” and sponsored the Supertouring E36 of Stefano Modena.

Best gear head recruitment tool ever. San Diego Sheriff’s have a Lightning. I was there on a work tour.

Big day for my GTI. Almost 9.5 years later and it finally crossed the 100k mile mark.
Never done that in a car before, but I’ve also never kept a car previous to this more than 2-3 years! lol
I keep saying I’m going to get something new…but then I ask myself, why?

And I've even managed to keep it totally stock after all these years!

Toyota Century, their ultra luxurious effort with the V12….. those things have the most extensive collection of weird and wonderful gadgets in ‘em
The engines are a bit like the Lexus V8s…. Under-utilised and not using anywhere near their tuning potential

Yet another little known JDM car.
In this case understated opulence with no effort given to performance.
See quite a few of these here in NZ.

Yeah there are a few lurking about Oz too, and the thought of bidding on one has crossed my mind.........they seem to sell pretty cheap but chasing spares could be a worry.

Briefly entertained the idea of buying one but reviews of them soon put paid to that, Toyota does some excellent Chauffeur driven cars that aren't these too with some mind to the driver and performance but still largely seen as a car to be driven about in rather than an owner driver.

My mind was running along the lines of using it to tootle about for a while then using the engine for a project and binning the rest.....last thing I need is another bloody project!
