Celebrating the new sled with a spot of recycling. As has been established elsewhere, I go to all the best places. Now I can get there slightly quicker.
Already in love with this motor, can see me having many more.

Just think how these roads would be just now?

Pictures of my road trip from Finland down thru only alpine small roads to St Tropez - Lago Maggiore around the French, Italian, Swiss and Austrian Alps to mention a few places.

Can anyone guess the locations where these pictures where taken?

Let鈥檚 dream away for a while...

@Badwolf - Yours? If so that is pretty impressive!
993's are growing on me a bit, and seemed to have peaked (if not dropped) in value just a hair recently.
Always been a 964 guy myself, and I'm patiently waiting for everyone to be "investing" in them lol.

@JanV - Spectacular!

Yes, I鈥檝e had it for about 15 years now. Such a solid car.

I had a 964 first, loved it, especially the engine sound (a bit muted on the 993). Personally I prefer the later car to drive, the improved rear suspension makes it feel more sure footed. I probably should have had the suspension replaced on the 964, I know you can do a lot better than the stock set up.

964鈥檚 are constantly being customised or rebuilt into something else, they鈥檙e bound to increase in value.

Having never actually driven a 964 or 993 myself I appreciate the input.
However if I do ever end up getting a 964 there is no way it is staying stock hah...at least suspension-wise.

I cannot confirm or deny I went to Majestic Wine and filled the larger boot with cases of Porta 6 as they are no longer stocking it and imho the LB7 that ' replaces' it is not as good.
*And breathe.

Ignore the M.H. which I love but the JCW is a rather special piece discussed previously and a real joy 馃榾

Yes, it's for sale.

No it isn't mine.

Bonus points to who can identify the car on the left 馃槈

When you know you are getting old ?

Your youngest purchases her second Range Rover, obviously she always had a thing for cars 馃榾

I notice it comes from Pentland Land Rover. When I grew up in Thurso Caithness number plates were SK, is that still the case or has the area expanded.

T.b.h. I had never given it a thought, she purchased it in the Edinburgh branch so something must have changed ?

A wind came up in the night and blew the car cover off....reminding me I have more projects than sense.
