Love the seats Pat. I had a 06 Z06 about a year ago and the stock seats were awful. Where'd you source those from?

Thank you! I agree... the stock seats definitely do NOT belong in a car like this. Caravaggio Corvettes out of Canada did the seats, steering wheel, shifter, shfiter boot, e-brake handle+boot, and the center console armrest.

Their work is top notch. Cool fact about the seats - they retain the factory power sliders and they are even heated!

It has the Street Attack package. It's amazing the capabilities their packages have while still retaining good driveability. The car also has a full Caravaggio interior (minus the dash) which gives the car a well deserved bump in comfort. What I should have done this winter was send the steering wheel to Caravaggio and have them do the Carbon Fiber top/bottom of the steering wheel... maybe next winter...

Very nice! I’ve been looking at side mounting the Caravaggio seats to try to get more head room, struggling with $4500=almost a new watch 🤔 .

In the meantime, I relocated the electronics under the seat, removed the springs, and removed the headliner to be able to fit in my car with a helmet, it’s not ideal but I’m 6’7” and like taking the car to track days.

Dude, I am 6'2" and barely fit in the silly thing, much less with a helmet on. At 6'7" you need a hole cut in the roof 😀.

The interior was ultimately why I sold my Z. Otherwise, awesome car for the money.

My father-in-law just replaced his 997 C2S with this...

It's a 2016 Shelby GT350.
He has been itching for a Mustang for some time.
The 997 engine is slowly taking itself out, and will eventually need a rebuild (and yes I tried to convince him to do a 4.0L build).
Light scoring on #4 cylinder, only going to get worse over time.
I think I mentioned it on the last page but if the price is right, I may have to take it off of his hands.
But I don't really want a 997. The car may last a while before it actually needs a re-build, but it also needs some suspension work.
The car has just over 100,000 miles on it so parts are getting tired.
Which is not necessarily a bad thing because that gives me an excuse to start upgrading things.
But it is not really the project I WANT. So tempting though...

No car to show and how I envy you people with all those beautiful machines! If I was in USA I would drive my favourite - the Ford GT40 - and wouldn't give 2 hoots if it was a high end replica. A petrol head all day, every day.
Here in Singapore a Toyota Corolla Altis with a base price of US$14k costs US$71k after all taxes and stuff are factored in.

Reminds me of the Rod Stewart song, ' some guys have all the luck😀.

And here is a slightly better picture of the Shelby. It’s fun. But I couldn’t find any crowds of people in order to give it a true testing.

Yes that is my daughter giving it a hug lol.
