Unmasked but still heavily camo'd
Hardly at all, 3 of them were caught without camo, possibly on test wheels tho. Think that also scoop was where your dash pic came from.
S/ SE spec without the eyebrows.

[EDIT] I'm sorely tempted by a late model 7.5 while the 8 gets up and running. I understand they are not going to have the usual delay in the GTi making an appearance this time round.

Ok maybe "heavily" was a bit of an exaggeration lol.
A bunch of these pictures were posted on the MK7 forum about a month ago and you can see in the higher-res photos that a lot of the lower grille and lights (front and rear) are still covered by body-colored and black vinyl.
But yeah no doubt that the production model will look pretty much identical.
They are still just covering up some of the details...
The front of that green car looks like it just has a vinyl print of a MK7.5 front bumper as well as the body colored stickers to cover up the area where the headlight now wraps around to the fender and black sticker to make them look like the general shape of the MK7 headlight.

Saw this gem hanging outside a dive bar.

Stunning Jag!! In a weird way, I love the coupe more than the convertible

Another favorite...
Make sure you have your speakers on because the background music really makes the video in my opinion...

Thinking of selling my E30 M3 after 25 years of ownership. Considering one of these:

Honda AP1 S2000 (via BaT):

Porsche 968 (via Petrolicious):

Pre Friday thread bump fo' shame

A question. Do we have any Citroen fans in the house, particularly folks who run 2Cv's or Dianes?
I have been going through some of Dads belongings and came across something I had completely forgotten about, a manual made by the Citroen Car club circa 1977.
We ran several in the late 70's early 80s, just thought before I contact them or chuck on the fleabay if someone here may benefit ( pref Uk for postage)?
Will need proof of appropriate Citroen ownership to qualify 😀

Will update with a photo later.

Mk8 Golf unmasked with derpy eyebrows to mask the derp face in the meantime ( derp face acknowledged by designer as derp face)
Never had one but I've always had a love for the Citroen SM.

Here's an unusual one, photographed last week at Lydden - a Tornado Talisman, (I'd never previously seen one):

Bill Woodhouse and Tony Bullen founded Tornado around 1958 and started building cars in Chipperfield, and then Rickmansworth, Herts, England. Initially, this was a model known as the Typhoon, based on the Ford 10. About 300 of these were sold and this enabled consolidation of the company and, from 1960, expansion with new models, Thunderbolt, Tempest Sport (Brake) and Talisman. However, following a change of company ownership, production ceased in 1964. See also: https://web.archive.org/web/2005102...uc.s.easynet.co.uk/tornado_register/photo.htm

Geeze... did they lift that nose off Dad’s old Studebaker? It’s just too close!

Yes Fritz, the car, while 'pretty,' is possibly a bit of what today would be called a mash-up of cues/features seen on other pre-existing models. But I was interested in it because both the Marque and this model are very rare - I'd never seen one before. BTW, the back end is I think well integrated:

Drove one of these around '72/'73 and the engine note was great and the steering frighteningly quick until you'd got used to it. A 'brave' effort I feel by Citroen, which didn't quite come-off. Talking of 'brave' any technician opening the bonnet of one of these for the first time and seeing this, would need to have that attribute!

Mash up or not, thats a properly lovely little car.

But then, I also like the Citroen DS series and the SM

The SM needs an...SM technician to mess with all that under the hood. For them it is a piece of cake. Lovely car!!
