It looks really nice. My sailboat had bronze fittings. They were from the 50s, and years of exposure to salt water turned them into a brown so dark that they looked almost black. I loved it.

Keep the updates coming. I like the watch, very nice to see it age naturally. I have no idea where the previous comment about bronze patina being fake came from.

🤨

Thanks, I will. It's a new enough material people are probably curious. I am surprised by the changes myself.

As for the comment about it being fake, it could be that the bronze is intended to change more rapidly, which seemed fake. Maybe it was just the choice of words that could be different, but I can understand why this might not be for everyone.

Love the look, love the changes. I think a five day power reserve is probably perfect. Really liking the three day on my humble Rado. That oris is nice all
Around. As far as the Patina goes our RNA is developing a type of “patina” daily and that oris will probably out live us all.

some aluminum bronze patina...

Beautiful. How can you not be happy with that outcome?

The golden-bronze hands and the green dial are a great match and enhance the look. The designers knew what they were doing.

Did that strap come with it? It's so sleek it gives me a Danish mid-century modern vibe.

Great watch.

thanks! yes, pleased with how it's turned so far... the green dial appears mostly black indoors

strap is the terrific BIWI Swiss rubber, part of the original package from Halios, along with a second canvas strap

You intentionally have the bezel one or two clicks off each time just to mess with me don't you? 😲

Sorry, I forget that we're talking with watch people 😉

Too late to fix it now. We'll have to wait until next week...

Was wondering that too, last week it was also off but in the other direction 😲
Anyway I like the patina so far 😉

Week Six:

Slowing down, but still darkening towards inner bezel.

Week seven. Probably last weekly posting as it's not changing much. Maybe more when it darkens.

For anyone considering bronze, I hope this helps your decision-making.

Cheers.
