Found this piece with no model name

Hi all,

When looking through my passed away dad's apartment I found this Omega. It has no model name and nothing written on the back of the case. Any reasons to believe it is not a genuine Omega? Would be very interesting to know what model it is. I suspect he inherited it from my grandfather.

Thanks!

It looks perfectly genuine.

It all Omega watches had model names. It’s just an Omega watch ref xxxx. The model reference number will be on the inner case back.

Nice find. Get it serviced by an experienced watchmaker who specializes in repairing vintage timepieces and can put the watch into good working order while preserving its character. This one should clean up very nicely. Find a high quality strap for it. Having it serviced and wearing it is a great way to honor the memories of your father and grandfather.

A 100% original Omega from 1960s with a caliber 267 probably😀 let us know about the caliber details and send the pictures.

Looks 2639-ish.

I will vote 1950s.

My caliber estimation is still 267 which means you are right, 1950s. 2639 is a possibility too. Lets see😀

Thanks a lot guys! I managed to open up the back of the case quite easily and it sure is a 2639(-10). Will def make sure to find a good watchmaker here in Stockholm to get it serviced.
