I remember it being important to me to find a
set of original Pre-moon Speedmaster springbars
and put them aside. I think these came off one of my
Speedmasters. Help me out. Are these the originals?
I seem to remember researching the originals having
the release like these. It's been a few years since I put
    them aside.

I have spring bars off a 145.012 premoon speedy that are identical, I believe them to be original.

The bars that came with my 105.003 that had never been serviced were identical to those.

There's also similar quick release spring bars for some bracelets, like the 1450, and maybe 1479?. I need one for a 1450.

Original or not, it's the last thing I'd want securing my £1000 bracelet to my £8,000 watch!
(7912 and 2998 used as examples)

Please, keep them in your spares box. They are horrible things, and I always replace them when I see them. I actually replace spring bars at pretty much any service, unless the old ones look very new...

Why are they horrible? Do they fall off easily? I have a speedmaster with those type of springbars but i didnt bother changing it.

They are a bear to remove depending on the specific watch they are on. Sometimes they rotate and the lever is under the part of the end link that you can't get the tool to reach...and spring bars do wear out, and should be changed at every service IMO. The newer bars are much beefier that these are typically.
