Forum Introduction and Ploprof Water Tightness Question

Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've followed the forum for several years, but this is my first post. I have several Omega timepieces including a Seamaster 300 (Watchco) and a couple of Flightmasters. Omega recently opened a boutique near me and when I stopped by, they were showing me their new Witschi ProofMaster. They told me to bring in my Omega timepieces and they would test them. I had to return to the same area this past Sunday and I took some of my watches along.

They tested my Planet Ocean chronograph, the Seamaster 300, the X-33 Gen1, and both Flightmasters. They all passed the 5-bar test. The only watch that did not pass the test was my PloProf.

I had the PloProf serviced a couple of years ago. I know this is not a guarantee of current water tightness, but it seems odd that all other watches passed while the PloProf failed. I know that the ProofMaster measures deflection under pressure to indicates water tightness. If there is no deflection that is an indication that increased air pressure has entered the case and therefore it is not watertight. I was wondering if it is possible that the PloProf is constructed such that under 5 bars of pressure there is no deflection and thus the ProofMaster indicates the watch is not watertight.
