Not sure about the verstappen/raikennan coming together. Not the first time Max has dived down the inside into a quickly disappearing gap (hasn’t he done that before at Spa?], but I think Kimi had plenty of room on the outside to open the steering. Racing incident, but think max should have played the long game.

Hubert... a reminder that it’s not a game.

Quote from Ernest Hemmingway . “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

Regarding the Spa start

Max: "what is he doing"
Me yelling at the screen: "MAX! Slow down! Your steering is broken"
Max: Bloosh!

Watching the in-car replay, he was so angry at Kimi, he didn't take time to notice his tires were staying straight no matter what he did with the wheel. Granted, he wasn't going race speed but he was going fast enough for an "oh sh-t" moment when the next bend in the road arrived.

Felt quite sorry for LEC and his win, clearly big emotions flying around.
Gutted for NOR
ALB pulled it out at the end and waved it around a bit, hopefully a good sign for the rest of the season.
Monza should be a hoot....

Qualifying was such a farce. Penalties needed to be handed out for exceeding out lap time limit.

There was a limit, so they must have been going fast enough to avoid penalties.
A note from Race Director Michael Masi ahead of the session enforced a minimum speed for drivers’ laps to make sure they weren’t running too slowly when preparing for their runs as they waited for other drivers to pass them and give them an aerodynamic tow.

Did VET get his lap time scrubbed for exceeding track limits? I couldn't see for laughing at the blame game that erupted after that messy cruise they all took with less than 2 min on the clock.

Late on Saturday, Vettel appeared in front of the stewards on Saturday evening over an alleged incident of leaving the track and gaining a lasting advantage during qualifying. However, following discussions with the driver and examination of the footage, they deemed that no further action was necessary.

Ferrari International Assistance. Extra cover available at Monza
A hackneyed old slur this . . . and nonsense in the specific matter since it'll be a judgement by the event stewards, not the 'FIA.'

Forza Ferrari! (And I still 'support' Seb), so there!

Ha ha. I think those stewards lack the courage to demote a Ferrari at home.

That’s Vettel right?
His time on that lap was void.

No, that is his FP3 qualifying lap. He was allowed to keep it.
Apparently from certain angles it looks like he was within track limits. Possibly when wearing Ray Bans and drinking Chianti?

So the tv production I was watching was wrong.
From what I could see he was far out!
But now he is out anyway.
