Glad Ocon got a seat. He will shake things up in the mid-pack.

2 races I'd like to see dropped because they're horrible are Russia and France. Most memorable moment for Russia is "Valtteri, this is James". Only thing I remember from the France GP's is the stupid trophy.

Agreed, Paul Ricard in the chosen set up is boring although a different layout has potential. Sochi is boring... I like Baku though.

    Remember Korea? India?

There are some boring circuits being kept on, Singapore and Sochi being 2, the French GP hasn't lived up to much since it returned, Monaco is a borefest unless it rains, F1 cars are too fast for street racing, they need big wide open spaces with corners that allow different lines and provide challenges for the drivers, slow the cars down, make them easier to follow and provide circuits that challenge the drivers and allow overtaking.

Agree on Monaco...it is THE quintessential F1 race but you could count on 1 hand the number of overtakes there the last 3 years

Probably just about the best section of track in F1. I’m envious!::love::

I have people there this weekend, they met pretty much all of the drivers yesterday and are now sitting somewhere near that shot with a pin of ale lording it about, sending me Whatslap updates every few min.
    £$%#*ers.

If you see 2 chaps with a polly pin of Ale, go and demand some. Tell them its a Chris Tax for the pictures.

Yep, totally agree, I first went there about 35 years ago and have watched F1 cars go up the hill on a number of occasions since then, I have always been totally in awe of their ability not to fly off the road at this point.

A stunning stunning section of race track, no wonder drivers rate it (and Spa) so highly.

Oops that was not the best idea you've had Lewis, putting the car in the barrier in final practice

    Anthoine Hubert... :(
I saw the car cut in half, I thought this was a huge hit but was still expecting good news at the end (these cars are designed to break here). Then I saw that the impact was directly on the survival cell...

After Jules, this is the second reminder in only a few years than even with F1 security standard, there is a risk of dying..

Correa is still in the hospital, we do not know about his condition for now. I hope he will be ok

It’s been reported that Correa is in stable condition.

which means it does not evolve but it could be critical. Jules was "stable" too... I think Zanardi also was...
That is what I am afraid of for now :/
One dead is already too much... I guess he is in surgery for leg injuries at that time, so I hope we will have some better news when he'll get out of the operating room

    Regarding the Spa start

    Max: "what is he doing"
Me yelling at the screen: "MAX! Slow down! Your steering is broken"
    Max: Bloosh!

Watching the in-car replay, he was so angry at Kimi, he didn't take time to notice his tires were staying straight no matter what he did with the wheel. Granted, he wasn't going race speed but he was going fast enough for an "oh sh-t" moment when the next bend in the road arrived.

Max was trying to pull a Kvyat and dive bomb the inside line.

On another note, wtf was going on during the last lap? Gio crashing and Lando stalling at the end of the 2nd to last lap.
