Whyte bikes logo has been removed from the Haas. They must be a little annoyed at the reduced exposure :whistling:

Remember when he signed with Haas and he said Ferrari was just a phone call away? Now Ferrari isn't even in the same continent.

I'm missing quali, so some observations from P1&2 whle I procrastinate wildly instead of doing revision.
    - Tail winds causing all sorts of shenanigans.
    - FER making slow calls again. Potential tyre issues too, they could be up there with Merc however in danger of stuffing their strat again.
    - Ruh Roh! McLaren are miles ahead of Renault.
    - GAS is quite good at rallying, been getting quite a bit of practice
    - RB has new 007 logo, assuming thats an Aston thing???
    - GRO hasn't got the hang of it.
    - STR has not been materially on track in nearly 2 hours of coverage.

Couldn’t agree more, although you should include the state of British politics as well, if it wasn’t so serious it would be funny!
I usually only watch the highlights(!!!!) of F1 now if it seems to have been mildly interesting, however since it’s the British GP this weekend I’ll watch it live and hope for some decent racing, you never know we might get lucky!

What I thought was funny were the British announcers were so surprised when Ricciardos car just stopped. Have they never driven a car with Lucas electrics?:whistling:

This is the 1007th F1 Grand Prix. Low hanging publicity.

Entertaining race today. Nice to see some hard racing, to bad none of it was for the two top spots, per usual. To bad Sebs heart isn’t in it right now, although he had a little payback for Max saved up.

Thought that was brilliant, great racing up and down the field, felt like a few scores were getting sorted ,gutted for Norris, rough day.
Did Racing Point even turn up?

Still waiting on some action shots, obviously a bar somewhere takes priority over sending the old boy some pics ;)

At the circuit bars are too expensive and beer too crap, and the only pub in Silverstone village terminally overcrowded. 140,000 spectators each sending many 10 Megapixel photos through Northamptonshire's one base antenna have overloaded the system.

When I got home from my first Silverstone Grand Prix my "pater" [*] was totaly uninterested, despite the fact that I had taken over his subscription to MotorSport magazine, so he had been keen once.

[*] Where I live now "old boy" means a male offspring .....

Last night I was sent a pic of them sipping so called cocktails at £10.60 a head ::censored:: In my younger days that would have covered a night out so that has given my age away and yes I have always been known as the old boy probably due to the fact that I am old but don't often behave that way ::facepalm2::

Vettel is contracted through 2020 season. This season is lost, if he doesn't do something spectacular for Ferrari next year I doubt he will be picked up again. It just hasn't worked out and he now clearly sits behind Leclerc as far as the future is concerned. The Vettel era is long gone and ain't coming back.

I really enjoyed watching this race. Action right from the start with Hamilton all over Bottas and Verstappen all over Leclerc, and that was just the appetizer. Such a contrast to some recent snnozefests, such as that French GP!
