The cynic in me wonders if this means that Ferrari will have to contribute more to the running of Haas, reduce engine prices etc.
Rich energy drinks have just sharted any remaining shred of dignity all over Twitter, be fun to see who they manage to piss off next. In other news I have serious Silverstone camping envy. This time next year.
There was plenty of skeptism about Rich Energy back when they signed up with Haas and even before that when they tried to buy Force India. Unfortunately for Haas it comes as no surprise that the deal has ended so badly. I hope Haas can sort out a major title sponsor soon.
No, but jalopnik.com has done a good job sourcing some and trying it, as well as listing where it can be purchased. They also had coverage of their empty save for a little product booth during the indy 500.
Turns out it may be a dodge in an attempt to not turn over funding information in regards to the copyright case. The court ordered them to turn over funding info in regards to F1 sponsorship. At least that is what raver.com seems to think https://racer.com/2019/07/10/rich-energy-claims-it-has-terminated-haas-deal/
“Rich Energy is currently the title partner of Haas F1 Team. I cannot comment further on the contractual relationship between our two parties due to commercial confidentiality.” – Guenther Steiner, Team Principal That was posted to their instagram 4 hours ago.
Rich Energy is now saying they will continue sponsoring Haas and the tweet was the result of a rogue employee.
From Twitter: "@rich_energy CEO @_williamstorey has commented "The ludicrous statement by minority shareholders cosy with @redbull & @WhyteBikes is risible. Their attempted palace coup has failed. I control all of the assets of @rich_energy & have support of all key stakeholders" #RichEnergy" ...
Yup just reported... Now the CEO is saying there was an attempted coup by the shareholders that made the statement that the comment leaving Haas was not true... Which means the statement that they are leaving stands... and the rogue employee statement from the shareholders was false..... HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I am now investing in Popcorn Futures.
Erm....shareholders.....there's a thing about that I was looking at today. Not that many of them. About 5. Including CEO....small crowd of mates to blame...
Practise 1 ...I can confirm Haas still have Rich Energy all over them. They have successfully distracted everyone from the omnishambles that is their main sponsor by GRO nose bonking the end of the pit lane on the way out and chuckng debris everywhere. Top work that man. [UPDATE] +20 min later GRO spins it.
