I add my condolences, to you and Tom’s young family.

I have lost a friend, the community has lost a font of knowledge and enthusiasm.
Terrible news.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

This is terrible news, his contributions to the community are invaluable and will last forever. One of a handful of true heavyweights in this hobby.

He will be missed.

Unbelievably sad news Andy, my thoughts, love and prayers are with you all, family and friends.

Tom was a great bloke, well respected and loved by many in the watch community and beyond.
He was always happy to help me and I was always happy to help him. Always good banter, very knowledgeable and always happy is how I will remember him.

Michael.

Sad to hear. Tom was a wonderful watch enthusiast who was kind, open, and giving with sharing his knowledge of some of the more interesting and obscure watches.

I had the pleasure to interact with him a few times, and it was always a pleasure.

My condolences to you and his family and friends.

Devastating news, deepest condolences to his family and friends.

So many fond memories over the past 15 years...reading his enthusiastic posts, being stunned by his amazing finds, sharing notes on our common passion for the MQ 2.4Mhz (that he largely contributed to bring out of neglect), exchanging PMs. Just went back to the last ones earlier this year, so sad...I'll go and retrieve one of my MQ2.4s and wear it for him.

I first met Tom in the mid 2000's when I was working at Swiss Time Services, and remember being struck by his incredible energy, he had bought an Anakin Skywalker for something like $50 and told an elaborate story about how the seller had found it in a tool box. Since then Tom was a regular feature at STS, bringing in his bargain finds, always hungry for knowledge and incredibly passionate. Tom soon established himself as a force to be reckoned with, and his visits would be become regular highlights for us. As the years progressed we got to see Tom's magnetic and vivacious personality work its magic on whatever he touched. Obsolete parts would magically appear, unusual models seemingly fell in to his possession. We got to witness how tenaciously he was able to make contacts and connections, working his charm on everything he touched. It is hard to comprehend how such a force of nature is no longer with us.

My thoughts are with his family, who he loved in the same way he approached everything in life, with passion, dedication and enthusiasm.

Very sorry to hear this news, I am another person Tom inspired with his posts about DS&S mesh bracelets. I only met Tom once in person, on his wrist was a great watch I had nearly bought so we had a good chat and laugh about it. Condolences to his family.

My condolences to you, his wife, the kids and the entire family. I didn't have the chance to get to know him personally. Only followed him on IG. Heart-breaking to see the pics with wife and kids.

Hi

Tom was a personal friend and someone's company I truly enjoyed.

Incredibly driven , clever and with an eye for detail in everything he did....Tom was always destined to be something special.

He was of course a gentleman too !

I missed our f2fchats when he moved away for work and now realise we can never catchup again.

My heart goes out to Esther and the children.

Tom RIP x

Best Neil
