Hi all, It’s with a very heavy heart that I pass on the incredibly sad news that my brother Tom unexpectedly passed away yesterday. I know, other than his family, that watches were his life and I know that there are people in the watch community that knew him on many different levels. Could I please ask that the people that knew him, pass this on to his friends. Andy
Oh man I read the title and was immediately expecting the worst, that’s terrible to hear. Tom was a lovely bloke to talk to with some remarkable expertise in niche watches. I’m going to leave this as a sticky for some time as so many people in the community knew him.
That is so shocking, at such a young age. His pictures on Instagram with his wife and kids were so happy. So sorry to hear, most heartfelt condolences.
Sad news, I still have an amazing Marine Chronometre from him - what made me buy it from him was he was so knowledgable and enthusiastic, not to mention straightforward and easy with the deal. He will be missed
So sorry to hear this. Had the pleasure of meeting him (and i had a great time). The watch community lost a very knowledgeable member. Condolences to his wife and kids (and naturally the rest of your family). Eugene
Andy, so very considerate of you to post this sad news. Tom’s passion for watches was evident and will be retained on this Forum for many to see and enjoy. RIP.
So sad to hear, Tom was well known and admired at Swisstime services, he was a huge supporter of everything we do for as long as I can remember, deeply saddening, from everyone at STS our thoughts are with his family and friends.
