·^^^ Nice, not many systems have open reel machines in them anymore. I assume you keep your Corvette in a locked garage along with any personal papers.
Hello to all, I’m relatively new to OF and just found this thread. I put together my first audio system in 1961 which is also the year I acquired my first Corvette. All these years later, many Corvettes and sound systems later I’m still into these and other hobbies including my watches. This is my current audio system. I started in the 60s with valves, moved to solid state or sand in the 80s and I’m now back to tubes, which for me, provide me with the most satisfaction.
I'm enjoying searching through OF for the many different and informative threads. 😀

Yes, my 2007 Ron Fellows special edition Z06 is in a locked garage, not sure about personal papers unless they are mine from my time in Laos. 🤦
"Love those vintage Nautilus….."
I love my 801Ds too!!!
"You are in it to win it! PR99, and B77 👍"
PR99 Mk III for my collection of RCA 2 track tapes from the mid 50s to early 60s and B77 Mk II for all my 4 track tapes. Love em!
For those who commented about the Corvettes, here is my latest with my Son.
Thank you all for the positive comments!
I have an A77-III 4 track and Otari 5050mxBII for 1/2 track on rolling stand. That’s widdled down from 3 Otari’s and 3 Revox…we gotta keep the collection trim!
I also have spare PR99s and B77s as well as a couple of G36s I hope to restore some day but, I'm 76 and some of these projects may need to be passed to someone else.
I’m happy to relieve you of your burden 😉
Mine for 150 bucks today (I thought about starting a ‘What HiFi Did You Buy Today’ thread … if this post should rather go there someone PM me and I’ll delete this and start that)
How did I do? Oh, I know it’s a bottom feeder in the audio food chain …and an AV receiver to boot …however I bought it as a multi channel amplifier (I think as far as AV signals go, AppleTV 4k is hard to beat) and thus to connect a Toslink (i think that’s the name for the digital optical cable) source and have more speakers in my lounge than the two I have currently enjoyed the last 15 years … now about those speakers … all ideas welcome!
Here is my little office lounge system. This room is quite small and yes, it has treatments! There are panels on the ceiling and behind the speakers. This room echoed like crazy when we took over the space. I need hide the cables after I make new speaker cables.

Call me smitten. Anyone know who made these watches for Musical Fidelity?
A lot to like here:
-925 solid silver case
-20th Anniversary Limited Edition 465 of 470
-Date wheel color that matches the dial.
-Piepan shapped dial with a combination of smooth and textured areas for visual interest.
-Breguet-style numerals and hands
-ETA 2824-2 movement running at approximately 2 seconds a day fast.
I have a friend who is a Musical Fidelity dealer and has 3 watches he got as swag from them- this being the best of the bunch (others were quartz). He says there is an eta in it and it’s well made but no indication of the maker. I assume the construction of the sterling case/ screwdown back and dial layout would look familiar to someone.
