I have not posted this watch in a while . My parents bought it on a trip in 1967 to the Virgin Islands ...... for my brother as a graduation gift ! Well years later in 1992 I asked if he still had it . He went into his bedroom in the back of his sock draw and gave it to me ! Said it never ran correctly. Well I was happy to get it as I wanted ever since my parents gave it to him ! I was very young at the time but I remember the watch .
It had some Spidel band on it I asked what happened to the omega bracelet . He said " it sucked " and he tossed it out same with the box etc....
I had the mainspring fix and the original crystal polished ...... I later found a job champion omega bracelet for it and here it is in all its glory 105-012 HF ! One family watch . It was a daily wearer for me for many years. I was a traveling sales guy and this was the watch I wore all over Europe and Far East in the late 90s. I remember being in Bangkok walking by a street seller selling fake iwc ..... I told him I had my fake omega on , he took a look and said "not fake!" And I walked away .
