Yeah while the credits were rolling, I noticed there still seemed to be a bit of time left before the end so I fast forwarded through that and saw it.
I also thought it was weird that the ending credit song was from the 80's which was obviously not fitting with the time frame of the show. Then that end clip came and it made sense...a bit more lol.

I wonder what the plutonium on board will be used for.
Nukes on the moon or power/heat source for longer space missions using the moon as a jump-off point?

I can never get into shows like that. We all know what happened. What's the point of watching it if there is no suspense. I might as well go watch a documentary then.

Uh...

I watched the whole thing, but to be honest I couldn't wait for it to end. It started reasonably enough but went too far into fantasy land for me. One TINY example, a LEM that goes from the surface up to lunar orbit with the descent stage attached and then returns to the surface. I doubt I'll be watching s02 if it airs.

Started watching the other day. Think I'm up to episode 5 now. So far so good...
Agreed on the Speedmasters, would like to know if they were loaned for the production, or if someone signed a big check to buy all the watches...
If that someone is Apple as a production partner, they could buy a dump truck full of vintage Speedy's with coin found in the corporate sofa cushions.

They are worth it - I think I paused reading the series around book 6 if I recall correctly. I need to pick them back up again, once I finish the series I'm currently reading (Daniel Faust)

Was surprised by the tv show not so bad for an Apple production showing the back office

ok, started over from the beginning...the episodes are slow, could easily cut 10 min from each...but wow! Really glad I tried to watch it for the third time. Great series and season 2 looks like it will even be better. Looking forward to tonights episode.

LOL...watch ep 1 thru. This is not a doc.

I enjoyed Apple TV+ shows. My favorites are Servant, Ted Lasso, Morning Show, and Home Before Dark. I also really enjoyed Defending Jacob, which is mini-series.

See and For All Man Kind are probably 2 of the top 3 in Apple's marketing, in addition to The Morning Show. I find See and For All Man Kind both a bit slow. Still enjoyable. And it's cool to see Speedmasters.

I think I’ll check out FAMK after reading the posts here. I had also assumed it was kind of a fleshed out First Man (which was criminally under seen at its release, in part having to do with a bizarre political hit job on the film).

Apple TV+ is a nice addition to the streaming services. The Morning Show was decent, but I’m guessing the true breakout hit is Ted Lasso. The word endearing has never been a more apt descriptor of a recent television show.

Season 2 is really solid so far. I think binge watching does the show no favors and watching it weekly is better.

My wife and I have been really enjoying For All Mankind. It is nice to think about what might have been if the engineers and scientists had retained leadership instead of what really happened...

I usually hate movies and TV shows that are "alternate reality" or something similar. But this one works for me. I love the show. Very well done.
