Figured I post this here as finding straps to compliment vintage watches is always a pain. Just picked up a couple of the Fluco Goatskin straps from Holben’s- these are outstanding for the money- as to be expected from Fluco. 3mm thick throughout, immediately comfortable and pliable, perfect taper, slim under the buckle, and the finish is just like we would have seen 60 years ago. Plus they do 18 & 19mm (19/16 & 20/16 hooray!) in all colors. I will be getting a few more of these. Also picked up their cuff for my Gruen Pan-Am. This has been a particularly hard watch to pair with a strap because it is small and is very slim- so most modern straps seem thicker than the watch, and if the strap is too slim it makes the watch wear very small- not to mention the odd lug sizing (around 18.3 which was probably because it was US market and sized for English not metric).
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I can bet that ostrich would find you much cuter than the baby goats.
