Hello OF,

I have been given 1st crack at this 911 cal Flightmaster before it hits the market. I have done some initial research but would like the communities feed back on condition, authenticity, wearability and price.

the seller said make me an offer and I am hesitant to respond. There are no movement photos, however I have purchased a watch from this person before and trust him.

I am told it has never been polished or touched by anyone. The current owner bought it from a friend who found it in her recently deceased fathers desk draw.

I'm guessing this is it. If it's not, post photos to ensure you get help. I did a site search for you. Remember, this is the best of the best, check ebay sold listings for other examples. https://omegaforums.net/threads/collector-Ω-flightmaster-145-013-serviced-box-bracelet-booklet-tag-manual-extract.104008/#post-1363221

That was calibre 910 😉

Not mine yet, negotiations have not started, in your opinion what would be a good starting point. This is a non OF sale, I know the seller through a friend.

Beware what looks like the rare Flightmaster user manual on this photograph is a repro scan/print version sold by a dodgy seller on eBay. Worthless.

The box is unknown to me. Probably not Omega

I would be careful with that watch now that 50% of the objects pictured are dubious. 😒

Flightmaster Only book looks legit 😀

Get used to always mention the currency when you name a price. It can be a great or a bad deal depending on if you pay peanuts or bananas.

Knowing where does this booklet come from doesn’t help. It’s just three sheets of paper printed with a laser printer at home and (badly) stapled together.

Not an original calibre 910 booklet from the late sixties. And not correct for this watch. The watch is cal 911.

USD, I am really on the fence with these non forum, non face to face transactions. Is 5000USD a good price?

I think there are much better deals on cal.911 Flightmasters, frequently available. Especially considering your price is only for the watch on bracelet.

Yes, you are correct. I knew that (especially since it's right there in your listing) but apparently had a brain cramp.

The watch appears from the pictures to be in really good original condition, original pushers, etc. $5k is a little aggressive I would say. As has been stated the manual shown is worthless. Keep in mind that even if it is in excellent condition the mvt probably hasn't been serviced in a while and that could set you back 6-800 for a complete service. I'm a fan of these watches and think they are undervalued. It's up to you to decide if it's worth paying full bore for a really clean example. It's not easy to find them is this condition. My guess is that it's a mid 70's watch, probably 74-5.
