·Probably most of you like the new 50th Anniversary Moonwatch bracelet, inspired by the Speedmaster 1039 vintage flat link bracelet. And it should look fantastic on any other Speedmaster Pros as well. Sneak preview 😁:
Jordy, a friend, I first met at a #speedytuesday event at Omega in Biel, already shared some information on the internet on how to attach this bracelet to his Ultraman. But unfortunately I found out that attaching the strap to old Speedy watches wasn't that easy: The holes in the lugs are slightly offset and cannot be reached with the spring bars. 🙁
So Jordy and I tried to get information from other Speedmaster fans as pictures with this bracelet are shown on Facebook and Instagram. Interestingly, if you ask, you never get an answer. Or there will be an evasive answer. 😵💫 So we did some interesting research ourselves. And we don't want the results to stay with us.
Mostly important: It is possible to mount the bracelet on any Speedmaster 😎 AND you can kill two birds with one stone by tweaking the fit to newer cases like that of the Ultraman. 👍 All you have to do is to modify the end links slightly.
