Just ordered mine as a gift to myself for my 50th birthday! These are tough to find! I have to wait 5-6 weeks to get this beauty on my wrist!

Cheers!
I was in Leeds, UK yesterday and one of the ADs was selling a Mk2 in black at a substational discount. About 25% off. You don't see many of these in the shops. I'm guessing like the originals, they are not great sellers.
But, I love my racing version. I actually sold my original 1970s version to buy the reissue. Partly because it has a date and is automatic. I were it quite a lot. It's a bit of a lump on my wrist though!

Great write up and the photos really show off the watch and great colour scheme. Just not sure about the case shape, I think its to chunky for me

The steep drop off of the case design makes it appear chunkier than it is. It's less thick then current or previous gen POs and barely thicker than a Speedy Pro to put it in perspective.

You have to try them on. They are a love/hate piece but I find them more comfortable than most other watches.

I do like this reference and at first was skeptical of the size, like most. However, after trying on a friend’s, it really is a surprisingly comfortable watch considering it’s size and looks. It is really cool when the orange glow comes through from the rehaut too!

It sounds like trying one on pretty much means I’ll end up wanting one!! The list will just keep growing

They are a big lump on your wrist. I tend not to wear mine with a tight cuffed shirt. But definitely a great watch for the summer. The lime and the orange are really punchy.. but a slim discreet watch, it is not!

Thanks for the great review. Somehow the watch never fully tickled my fancy, but it's very attractive nonetheless with its layered bezel.

At least show us a pic of the rehaut glowing.

Yeah that's the the best part and the sick lume! Best bracelet ever worn! I hate bracelets, but it's so comfortable!

Thread resurrection!

Can the Current Mark II be worn on a Nato? I understand the originals can.
