Notice in three pictures from this article, the bracelet of choice of even the earliest Speedie wearing astronauts was the Fostner Komfit/JB Champion. These are still available on the used market today.

A great pic. Did they make these guys any cooler than Gordo? I can't recall who played him in The Right Stuff, but I think they got him to a T from what I have read.

Oops. I see that Omega picked up Gordo's Seamaster. I remember when it came up for sale. I consulted on it. Glad that Omega added it to the museum.
