ephemeral
·Hey there,
Couple weeks after joining the forum, wanting to move to Swiss manufacturer for my collection, I stumbled upon a beautiful 70s cliché and could not resist.
I just received it today and took some pictures of it. It's in desperate need of a service and a crystal polish.
I does wind both with the balance and the crown. I suspect the crow to be stuck and I do not want to bother with it that much before the service.
The crown also does have some movement when push in, perhaps the movement is not secured as it should in the case (or this is a vintage feature).
The bracelet definitely is missing a pin (ie: rusted metal bar).
One question comes to my mind, would any/most watchmaker be able to service the 1020 movement or should I especially find a reputable one ?
I was thinking to take a visit to the local old town old man for the service.
I've also seen couple listing mentionning TV dial or Nautilus. Which is the good denomination ?
If you have anything to point out that seems out of the ordinary on this watch please feel free to do so.
(For the other two watches on the pictures J14102E SD dial and a Lord Marvel 36000 which seems to be a gift from the Emperor Shõwa for the 44th reign anniversary to security/military officials* has a special engraving non factory ? on the back)
