First Omega SMP - Bracelet compatibility question

Hello all,

I recently purchased my first ever luxury watch, the one I've wanted for over a decade, a Seamaster Pro. Ended up with a pre-owned 212.30.41.20.01.003, but it didn't come with the bracelet. I was curious if the new style SMP (2018) wave dial bracelet (020STZ010100) would work?

I don’t believe it will, as it is thicker than the one for that version. But others may be know better. If you want the micro-adjust clasp, that’s an easy-to-do upgrade on the old bracelet. There have been several threads on here about doing it - I did it myself just last month and it made a world of difference on the wearability of the watch.
