Well spotted! Indeed they have but just the end links. Not by me but by the earlier owner. Not really an issue for me as I dont really intend to use that bracelet, will likely sell it on and use the brand new 1125/617 I have on order. It is for this reason I was asking about the 560s in case they are a better option for 19mm lugs. If your pic, which are excellent are any judge, the 560s are a little short for the Speedy. I love what you did with the BOR and modern end links!

As mentioned before, there are often problems if you want to install the 617 end links with the standard supplied springbar on the FOIS.
This could be not so much because of the diameter of the springbars, but rather because of their compressible length.

    Spring_bars.JPG

    Top
    Springbar Ref. 2207
19 mm lug width, diameter 1,8 mm
    longer, for straps
These come usually with the FOIS and make it very difficult, if not impossible to install the 617 end links.

With straps, it is normally no problem to place one pin of the springbar inside one hole and squeeze the strap together to place the other pin inside the other hole. The longer springbar also give some extra strength, when used with straps.

    Bottom
    Springbar Ref. 2206
19 mm lug width, diameter 1,8 mm
    shorter, for bracelets

In case of bracelets and their metal end links, the springbar must be able to be compressed so far that both pins fit at the same time between the lugs, since the end pieces can not usually be installed at an angle.

Nice visual comparison of bracelet options on the FOIS. I had mine on both 1025 and on the 1565/976. The vintage bracelets look great but disliked the rattle with hallow endlinks. Best option would be an older bracelet with solod end links (like 1450/808 or 1479/812, both 20mm) with modified endlinks to fit (1/2 mm shaving on each side of the end links)

@zoohannover A few suggestions on your options, for a tighter fit :
    - First, if you wear a 1125 with a FOIS, I would recommend to use endlinks 560. Not 617, which you may to use for the speedy 60th anniversary (lug holes are further out).
    - Second, if you wear a 1168 with a FOIS, I would recommend to use endlinks 555. Not 556.
    Best,
    J.

Nice watch and the bracelet options look great, I'm just not sold on Omega's choice on hands on this one and they spoil it a little for me.

@LeonDeBayonne Thank you very much for the information!

I'll give it a try as soon as I come across either the 560 or 555 end links.

Then I will post some pics and report about it.

@zoohannover I will upload pics of a FOIS with 555 endlinks later. In the meantime, please see below pics of a ck2998 blue (same case as a FOIS) with a 1125/560 and a modded FOIS (dial, hands, bezel, glass and crown replaced) with a 1125/560 (with outer links being polished).

As agreed @zoohannover, 1068 with 555 endlinks on a modified FOIS.

The endlinks (555) move a little bit. I guess this could be improved. But most importantly their curve is exactly the same as the watch's and pinholes correspond.
