the 321 bracelet looks so clean but of all braceletts out there the best one is the „old“ 1861/63 one imho.

Already 9 years with me, still a lovely classic in my eyes 😀

… and I like it the way it was sold, with a brown strap

Love seeing a well worn watch! 👍 But perhaps it's time to replace the strap, no?

Love that wear on the strap. Enjoy it!

Love the look of the oem strap. But im OCD about using the strap as its a consumable and will eventually get worn out and need to be replaced.
So been wearing it on oem 1125/560 bracelet until recently where I've now got it on Forstner endlinks and the bracelet from the new 321 Speedmaster.

Would have been nice if the FOIS came with a deployant clasp and deployant style strap.

Is there any bracelet in particular for the FOIS that suits a small wrist the best? I would think some bracelets with the end links shorter than the lugs, though not visually appealing, seem to wrap a smaller wrist better.

I find the Forstner flat link (original fit) works really well with a small wrist like mine. I think the contemporary fit flat link with the new milled clasp would probably be a bit too chunky for me. With regards to the end links, I agree that it doesn't conform to the shape of the lugs as well as the end links from say, the Uncle Seiko flat link bracelet. However, I find that that the Forstner bracelet forms a nice curve hugging your wrist. The Uncle Seiko, on the other hand, has end links that form a sharp ledge over the bracelet's middle links which I don't really like.

Do you think the flat link bracelet has a smaller appearance than the 1450 president bracelet? I prefer the style of the president on the FOIS but really want to minimize the chunky look of the watch (if only they sold the Speedy Reduced with a manual wind movement, I would get it in a heartbeat).

I've not personally tried on the1450 president bracelet so I can't say for certain what it looks like on a small wrist like mine. From pictures that others have posted online it does appear thicker and more chunky than an original fit Forstner flat link bracelet.

I have both and I think they don't make any difference retaled to wrist presence.

+ 1 on the Forstner flat link. It works very well on my just under 7" wrist. I wore mine for quite a while, excellent fit and wears beautifully.

I've since switched off the bracelet for a Bulang rally strap, which is sooooo comfortable, but the flatlink is my bracelet of choice for the FOIS after trying several others.

My favourite choice until now is US 1450 + brushed lugs

The brushed lugs look really good, I don't like the polished surfaces on the FOIS, takes away from its functional, utilitarian look and history.

On that note, what do you guys think is the most casual looking, non-dressy, bracelet for the FOIS? I'm deciding between the 1450 or Flat Link brushed.

Thanks for all the info - you’ve covered everything I needed to know. The Uncle Seiko SELs just look too good with the way they fit the lug profile not to use them. If all it takes for it to work is filing the inner edges of the end links a few tenths of a millimetre and slightly thinner spring bars, that’s completely manageable.

I realise the Forstner end links are more “plug and play” but I’ve used them before and can’t stand them - the way they prematurely turn down changes the entire look and feel of the watch, and not in a good way.

My only obstacle now is deciding if I am willing to spend that amount on a bracelet considering I already have the Uncle Seiko flatlink with Omega clasp and I’m pretty happy. Part of me really like the “authenticity” of the thinner more flexible bracelet with vintage style friction clasp - it is certainly extremely comfortable.

my current setup:

My only other concern is getting a good fit, given the 321 bracelet only has one adjustment hole on the clasp and I believe no half links?

Well, thanks to everyone’s advice I made the leap and I don’t regret it. Yes it was expensive but the watch feels complete now and is really “mine”. I’ve got both the Uncle Seiko solid end links and the Forstners so I’ll be playing around a bit over the coming days. Currently on the US ones. The 12 o’clock one allows the bracelet full articulation but the 6 o’clock one is sticking a bit so I might have to get some filing done!

Thank you all for your guidance!

How has your clasp stayed so nice and the leather turned so manky? Haha

It's probably a bit early, but does anyone have any info / indication whether the (excellent) bracelet from the new-for-2022 '57 Speedmaster would fit the FOIS (with an endlink swap most likely)? And/or the part number for that bracelet?

This new '57 model (332.10.41.51.01.001) has a 20mm lug width / bracelet so wouldn't fit the FOIS unfortunately, which is a shame because the clasp has on-the-fly adjustment.

Has this been confirmed? I have the 321 edwhite bracelet on my fois. Would the clasp from the new '57 not fit that bracelet?

Omega website says the new '57 co-axial speedy is 20mm between lugs.

In terms of the clasp, I don't know the answer - but then one would have to buy two Omega bracelets in order to get a hybrid to work on the FOIS.

Surely the clasp can be bought seperately.
