First Omega…or is it?

I just received this watch from an eBay purchase and noticed the dial has two issues. That makes me question it’s authenticity. First, There is no indication of “Swiss made” typically found below the 6. Second, the dial does not have minute indices. This watch is supposed to be a 1964 sea master, 30. 286 caliber. Can anyone shed some light on whether this dial and or watch is authentic?

Looks like someone tried to clean the dial and took off the minute markers and ‘Swiss made’ in the process.

It’s genuine but not in good condition so hopefully it was cheap.

I agree the dial has been washed. It doesn't look very good, unfortunately.

Thank you both. That makes sense. I did not pay a lot for it so that is good. Do you think it would be best to find another dial and get it replaced? I am going to need to get it serviced anyway. Thoughts?

Unfortunately it will probably easier to find another watch than find another dial.

If it was mine, I would get it serviced and just wait as long as it takes to get another dial from fleabay or the like. hard to find parts for vintage watches. So future rule is make sure the hands, dial and if plated the plating are great.
