It came well packed, the build is very solid and the gears are smooth. It's heavy.

It came with a movement holder too, there is no way to attach it to the press though which is a pity.

I will post an update when I try it on a junk watch.

So I just tried it.. and it's hard.. I was able to take seconds and minutes but the hours.. the hand was too close to the dial and I broke it.. of course it's a junk watch so I don't care...

Interestingly enough I didn't scratch the dial, apparently dials aren't that easy to scratch.

I couldn't reposition the hands either... it's hard.

For anyone else reading this, my conclusion is that it's well made but certainly difficult to use, compared to normal levers and I wouldn't recommend it to people like me who are just getting started disassembling watches.

Based on some of the dials I get in, a lot of people responded to this with "hold my beer!" :)

But seriously, this is meant not to touch the dial, right? That's the entire point of the tool, to remove hands from delicate dials that you don't want to put pressure on, so if it scratches the dial it wouldn't be a very good tool.

But for most cases, levers are the best tool IMO...

Thanks. I have to get more tools and junk watches before I come back to experimenting more.
