Lovely. I have a dial ready for me to mod my standard Speedy but nothing beats an original with box and papers. Congrats.

Nice pickup. Any chance of a (redacted) warranty card pic so others can know what to look for?

Just fantastic. Patience + Good Eye = Lasting Happiness.
This watch is one of the only watches I have yet to see in the real world but remain desperate to do so.

Thanks, I knew they were rare but didn't know they were that rare!

you'll see 100+ dials sold on ebay over the last few years. plenty of "fake" mitsukoshis floating around. great piece of mind to know you've got a 100% authentic version!

Looks awesome, beautiful watch.
New to Omega so will do some research into Mitsukoshi as I know nothing about him/it/them.

Congratulations! The Mitsukoshi (loose) dial recently flew in my radar as well. It’s a beautiful dial, but never would imagine myself chasing for a real, original Mitsukoshi and opt for the more affordable mod. The Mitsukoshi receipt is a nice collector’s touch for sure.

I know what it feels like to have some cash saved for a particular piece when it’s not available, and not having cash when it is! Vicious cycle. I’m glad you got out of it!

Following the one-in-one-out rule helped me get comfortable with the timing of the purchase. It made me think about my collection and decide which watch should go onto someone else’s wrist. At the time of purchasing the Mitsukoshi, I committed to sell one of my other watches. Only days late, I followed through with that.

I sold my 60th Anniversary Speedmaster. I got it from the OB in September 2017 and loved it the entire time. It was easier to sell then any of my vintage stuff.

Bah! I, too, setup a rule for myself. Currently trying to save for a Patek but now tying up my funds. Sigh. I applaud you on the discipline. And it’s been rewarded...
