I’ve been waiting years since they announced the release to grab one of the several options available and I finally got my hands on one. Seller accepted offer and it’ll be coming to me all the way from Japan, where I seem to get most of my Omega’s.

Even got it complete with hang tag and all. It is used but barely I’d say from pictures shown.

i had to sell most of my collection when I started up my business back in 2017, and I’m finally back after filling out my case again. First of many to fill it out, next is the panda version of the Tokyo to replace my old panda in my profile pic.

Any guesses what I paid?

I mean that’s what inflation will do, don’t worry, my stimulus covered the difference.

The Stimmy checks made a lot of economic activity possible, a lot of it not good. Enjoy your watch.

Do you buy from the same seller? Can you give the name of this person. I have been wanting a Mk40 and they seem to be plentyful and reasonable priced in Japan.

I dont dare to guess the price, but it sure is a beutiful watch.

Usually I check out Elady.com and have had amazing luck there and my first purchase from PURPOSE was on Chrono24 yesterday when I ordered this watch. They’ve already shipped it and expect it next Tuesday. We shall see, but they have good ratings and Chrono24 is top notch from what I hear. I actually sent him an offer and got 10% off from asking and imo, it was already priced well enough, so I feel lucky.

Elady, Chrono24 and here on the forums are the only places I trust to buy from. I will say, it seems like Japan had the best pricing whenever it comes to most pieces.

It's an absolute beauty, as is the black and white panda.
Oh for sure, I have a hard time passing up panda dials in all flavors. I may end up getting some of the other pieces from the Tokyo Olympics collection. Kinda liking the Rising sun version.

Congrats friend! Long time no see!
It has been awhile, just trying to get back into it, especially with prices on the rise. Surprised the steal I got this at in this market.

think last thing we spoke about is the panda in my profile…. Of course I had to sell it a few years ago and now I can’t find a complete one below 5.

Update for anyone who remotely cares haha

Wife signed for the package on Friday and of course I’m out of state working this weekend! With that said, i somehow was able to patiently wait till I got home about an hour ago.

My first impressions of how well the seller shipped the watch( Seller: PURPOSE from Chrono24)?
Ridiculously overpacked, and I love it. I bet if a Grenade went off near it, even the outer box would come away without a scratch…. Every piece from the hang tag to the little roll that holds the watch in the box was wrapped and protected.

Onto the watch itself:

I haven’t gotten an Omega before that also had one of these Elaborate cool boxes, but the box itself is a masterpiece, and I wish I had some way to display even just the case!

Of course you know the watch itself is an amazing piece, and it’s 426 of 2020.

I’ll be taking it in tomorrow to get sized, unless someone says I should just leave it be and make it the collector piece it should be.

Congrats on the watch. Have it sized and wear it, that's what it is for. But you never told us what you paid for it.
