I was also informed that the current Railmaster (non LE) is likely to cease production in near future, but this could have been a sales' ploy, although I don't think so (no further stock additions, which could be the dealer's choice or simply that they are now limited, who knows).

I would certainly take that with a huge grain of salt. I recall my local OB stating that the AT 15000 Gauss and that the Deville Orbis Hour Vision were going to be discontinued, and they proved to be totally wrong. They passed on the information two years after I had purchased these watches, so there was no sale tactic involved. I always thought that not discontinuing the AT 15000 Gauss was incredible oversight from Omega...it could have become a true collectible watch, a register of their materials science breakthrough.

On a more general note Swatch already has massive stock inventory and with the Covid19 outbreak impacting 50% of their market base (China. Hong Kong and Chinese tourists) I can see them having no option but to open the dam and flood their distributor market in a few months time...if you are looking to negotiate a good bargain with your AD, I would wait for a few months.
