I /think/ he only just bought that one and it was around the 900 mark from memory

It was either $94x or $97x - there were two bought close to the same time that we were all commenting on in separate threads.

Yes, these still sell for less than a grand. 馃憤

Do you mind if I crop that picture to show just the dial? It's a perfect original example to show next to a photo of a service dial I have a pic of.

Is that a 2757? I thought they had straight lugs with no indent near the case

Here's the case back.

And Dennis, that'd be fine with me.

Both have them - the 2757 had smaller indents than the 2627.
Ah! Thanks for clarifying

I think that one is worth north of 1K as well.
I think so so too. I just saw another one sell for $1300.

I'm going to raise this thread from the dead 馃榾

I think it's more relevant than ever, since prices have gone quite a bit up on some of the watches showcased here - so what are the current bargains?

My dream collection has 2 watches that I think s/b sub $1000, but I better hurry !

My prior military service and fondness of antiques has me always on the lookout for a porcelain dial trench watch of the WWI era and a 2179, or there's another one, can't think of the reference right now, from WWII.

All my dreams seem to come true eventually, someday these will too!

(Not so sure about the sub $1000 part)

It's still possible to get a nice Seamaster bumper 351/354, date at 6 353/355 for under $1k. Constellation Pie-Pan's too - just takes some time!

This came in at less than 1K full serviced, admittedly I got it for a real bargain

How about a nice Seamaster 120, If my memory is good it麓s a 166.027. Still to be found under $1000, although then it will be more than likely without its bracelet.

At about 37mm a great size, a great deal and a perfect companion to a 60麓s Speedmaster.

I'll play.. ST 168.023. The hands are wrong or redone and the lume is gone, but I love this little watch!

Anyone got a white gold version they'd like to part with?

Just like Kyle said, almost all of my vintage Omega below $ 1,000 except All Gold
I don't know how much the fair price of Seamaster 120, I paid it for $ 800
