I have owned two vintage cars, and enjoyed them both very much. The first was a classic (roundie) 2002tii. The second was an '89 Milano Verde. The Alfa's handling and engine sounds were sublime.

Alfa 75?

Yes, it was called "Milano" in the U.S. market.

Studebaker Avanti. Never owned either an Avanti, or an Avanti II. I don't know whether they were a very good car, or not. I just really like the styling.

But my real world favourite is my hobby car. My 1978 American Motors Concord Sport Lifback (fast back). One of 2,500 built. Had it since new. I have spent a pee-pot on it since 1995. You might think I have a soft spot in my head for orphan cars! You'd probably be correct.

1982 Alfa GTV6 front engine-rear box.

In typical Alfa fashion, it taught me a LOT about auto repairs and auto electrics, but when it went, it went well 😀

Yes, great when running well and 2nd synchro not too obstructive! I loved the noise from the V6 engine, but the 2.0 4 was even better balanced.

My favorite cars as a kid were my dumbest mistakes - 1970 'Cuda (bought for under $600) and a 1971 Challenger (bought for $275 because it didn't run). The 'Cuda was crazy quick with a 3.91 rear and 727 slapstick, but the Challenger was a sweet ride. Pumpkin yellow-orange with the white stripes down the side, white interior with a white top. Oh, what a car to have in summer! No pictures because nobody thought to bother. The mistake was selling both because they're worth a mint now.

The performance cars I remember coveting were the Ferrari 308 (Magnum PI) and Porsche 959.

Lots of favourite cars from this era but of the ones I owned

1981 mark 1 VW Scirocco Storm (library picture as all mine are in an album) which had the 1.6 Golf GTI engine throwing out a mighty 110 bhp

Then had a Golf GTI which was ok but then I got one of these which still ranks as the most fun car I ever owned

1988 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 which had I think 130 bhp .You never got out of this car without a smile on your face but I did once manage to spin this in the wet which was not fun

Me and my grandpa are working to fix up his 1963 Corvette Stingray original paint maroon. From my grandpa I have disliked to hated most modern cars(I do like modern Porsche 911s) So I have been saving up and my grandpa is in I am planned for my first car to be a 1961-1969 Chevy Corvair Monza 900. I love 50s-1972 Chevys and Porsches 1950-1987 Roadsters, 911ts, turbo, and a few more. 50s to 1971 almost always white walls cherry red. After my long list what are your favorite older cars?

My kind of car. Very beautiful.
